Infineon Technologies advances its collaboration with NVIDIA to develop next-generation power systems for artificial intelligence data centers. The announcement occurred during NVIDIA's GTC Berlin conference. It highlights Infineon's gallium nitride (GaN) technology. This technology will be integrated into 800-volt direct current (VDC) power architectures.

The partnership addresses the immense power demands of modern AI workloads. Infineon's GaN-based solutions will power the high-voltage intermediate bus converter, a critical component for AI server power delivery. The collaboration builds on previous joint work announced in 2025. It aims to enable more efficient and scalable power distribution as AI data centers grow in complexity and power consumption.
