Honeywell Technologies completed the sale of its Warehouse and Workflow Solutions (WWS) business. Private equity firm American Industrial Partners (AIP) acquired the unit.
The transaction included the Intelligrated and Transnorm brands. The sale was for an undisclosed all-cash sum.
Honeywell divested the WWS business as part of its strategy. The company aims to concentrate on its pure-play automation portfolio. This portfolio serves the building, industrial, and process sectors.
This move follows other significant portfolio changes. Honeywell recently spun off its Aerospace business. It will also sell its Personal Protective Equipment unit in 2025.
The company aims to sharpen its focus on the transition from automation to autonomy.
