GSK will acquire a preclinical T-cell engager for multiple myeloma from Chimagen Biosciences.
The agreement includes an undisclosed upfront payment and up to $750 million in potential milestone payments. This acquisition strengthens GSK’s existing blood cancer therapeutic portfolio.
The trispecific asset targets T-cells and two tumor-associated antigens simultaneously. This dual-targeting approach aims for deeper responses and improved safety compared to single-antigen therapies.
GSK expects to begin Phase I clinical trials for the program in 2027.
