Grab Holdings announced a plan on September 15 to execute the remaining $900 million of its share repurchase program. The company expects to complete these buybacks over the next 12 months.
This initiative brings the total capital returned to shareholders to $1.75 billion since the program's 2024 inception. This total represents the full amount authorized by the board.
At current share prices, the buyback would retire more than 10% of Grab’s outstanding Class A ordinary shares. Grab will fund the repurchases using its existing cash reserves.
The company reported gross cash liquidity of $7.4 billion as of June 30, 2026. Execution remains subject to market conditions and share trading prices.
