OpenAI plans to make its advanced AI models, including GPT-6 Astra and the Codex coding agent, available on Google Cloud within the next few weeks. Customers will be able to access and purchase the models through Google Cloud’s Model Garden and Marketplace, using existing cloud spending commitments.
The move expands OpenAI’s distribution following the end of its exclusive deal with Microsoft. With the Google Cloud rollout, OpenAI’s models will be available across all three major U.S. cloud platforms.
For Alphabet, the partnership supports Google Cloud’s strategy of offering enterprise customers a broad mix of first- and third-party AI models.
