Jana Partners urged Fiserv to increase planned savings under its Project Elevate program. Fiserv's current savings target is $500 million. Jana called for a $1.25 billion target by 2029.
Jana also called on Fiserv to use Palantir software to speed its technology transformation and help deliver the savings.
The request is part of Jana's broader campaign at Fiserv. Jana has held a stake in the company since late 2025 and has pushed for a comprehensive strategic review and other changes to lift its underperforming stock price. Fiserv shares have lost more than half their value in the past year.
