Eni S.p.A. increased its 2026 share buyback program to €3.4 billion. This decision adds €600 million to the previous target.

Second-quarter adjusted net profit more than doubled to €2.3 billion. This figure beat analyst expectations of €2.09 billion.

Higher production volumes and favorable commodity prices drove strong results across all business segments. The company has now raised the buyback plan twice this year from an initial €1.5 billion.

Eni raised its full-year guidance for cash flow and production. The company confirmed its ordinary dividend and noted the possibility of a special dividend later this year.
