CSL Limited has appointed Deborah Waterhouse as its Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, effective February 1, 2027. She will succeed the current CEO following an extensive global search by the company’s Board of Directors.
Waterhouse has more than 25 years of experience managing complex global specialty pharmaceutical companies. She is currently CEO of ViiV Healthcare, a joint venture majority-owned by GSK.
Waterhouse has a track record of growing biopharmaceutical businesses and renewing franchises through the development and commercialization of new medicines. CSL Board Chair Dr. Brian McNamee cited her ability to drive commercial performance, renew pipelines and simplify operations as key factors in her appointment to lead CSL’s next phase of growth.
