BrainChip Holdings Ltd (ASX: BRN) received the first 2,000 units of its AKD1500 neuromorphic processor. This delivery marks the start of commercial-scale production for the company. The initial batch belongs to a larger planned run of approximately 60,000 units. Management noted that initial production yields were slightly lower than expected.

The company is now shifting from pre-production to supplying commercial-grade processors for customer deployment. Commercial shipments are scheduled to begin in the second half of 2026.
