BrainChip Holdings Ltd. has launched Sequora, a processor intellectual property (IP) core designed to run generative AI and large language models (LLMs) directly on edge devices. The launch expands BrainChip’s portfolio beyond its Akida platform as demand grows for on-device AI processing without cloud reliance. Sequora is commercially available for licensing to semiconductor and system developers.

Sequora is engineered to support models with up to approximately 3 billion parameters while retaining the ultra-low-power benefits of BrainChip’s existing neuromorphic architecture. It aims to address memory and power bottlenecks that have limited generative AI on battery-powered devices.

Potential applications span the consumer, industrial, automotive and aerospace sectors.
