BMW reported 551,072 global vehicle deliveries in the third quarter of 2026. Deliveries fell 6.3% year over year.
The downturn was primarily driven by China, where BMW sold 114,355 vehicles, down 24.8%. German automakers face broader challenges in the country, including intensified competition from local manufacturers.
Sales increased 2.7% in Europe and 2.5% in the United States. Battery electric vehicle deliveries rose 7.2% in the quarter.
