AXIA Energia SA finalized a BRL 1.7 billion investment agreement with ANEEL.
The capital will fund the expansion of the Luiz Gonzaga Hydroelectric Plant and associated transmission assets.
New facilities are located across São Paulo, Mato Grosso do Sul, and Mato Grosso.
The expansion is projected to increase Annual Permitted Revenue (RAP) by BRL 50.8 million.
Fernando Cardozo, Director of New Transmission Business, confirmed the company is now focusing on project execution.
