ASML Holding N.V. began construction on a massive new campus in Eindhoven, Netherlands, on September 9, 2026. The facility could eventually accommodate 20,000 employees to meet rising global semiconductor demand. This expansion confirms ASML’s commitment to Dutch operations after previously considering international alternatives.

The company also deepened strategic collaborations with industry leaders Intel, Samsung, and TSMC. Samsung committed to adopting ASML’s next-generation high-numerical aperture (NA) EUV machines by 2028. TSMC plans to deploy the same technology by 2030. Additionally, the partners will transition to 12-inch photomasks to improve long-term manufacturing efficiency.

These moves reinforce ASML’s monopoly in the advanced lithography market for AI and high-end computing. Barclays analysts described the customer commitments as a positive driver for High-NA EUV revenue growth. ASML shares rose 2.91% in New York trading following the announcement.
