An Amentum-led joint venture has been selected as preferred supplier for the Projects and Asset Care Execution (PACE) framework at the Sellafield nuclear site in the United Kingdom. The framework has a potential value of up to $2.78 billion (£2.1 billion).
The initial contract term is nine years, with an option to extend for six years.
The joint venture, OneAxIoM, includes Amentum and Mitie Plc, supported by Assystem and Mott MacDonald. Its work will support Sellafield’s spent fuel management and retrievals mission through engineering, design, project management, plant modification and ongoing asset care.
Sellafield has not formally awarded the framework agreement; final contractual arrangements are pending.
