Allianz Global Investors is in exclusive negotiations to acquire UOB Asset Management for approximately $467 million. The German asset manager reportedly outbid competitors including KKR, Amundi, and Seviora for the Singapore-based firm.

UOB Asset Management currently manages over $33.6 billion in assets. The company operates as a subsidiary of United Overseas Bank.

This acquisition would provide Allianz with a significant foothold in the Southeast Asian market. The transaction represents one of the largest asset management deals in the region in recent years.

Discussions remain private and ongoing. Neither Allianz nor United Overseas Bank has released an official confirmation.
