Global aviation finance company Avolon has placed a firm order with Airbus for 110 aircraft. The order is part of a larger 250-aircraft deal that also includes Boeing.
The Airbus order includes 75 A320neo-family narrow-body jets. It also includes 35 A330neo-family wide-body aircraft. Avolon has options for another 100 Airbus jets.
The deal reflects strong demand for new, fuel-efficient aircraft as airlines expand and modernize their fleets. It reinforces Avolon’s position as a leading Airbus customer, particularly for the A330neo, and extends its delivery pipeline well into the next decade.
The deal is subject to approval by shareholders of Bohai Leasing, Avolon’s majority owner. Approval is expected by the end of October 2026.
