Adidas appointed Omnicom Media Group as its global media agency, ending an eight-year partnership with WPP’s EssenceMediacom. The decision followed a competitive review that included Publicis. The account carries approximately $512 million in annual billings.

Omnicom’s PHD will manage full-funnel media planning, buying, and consumer insights across all global markets. Adidas increased its total marketing investment by 8% last year to over $3.4 billion. This strategic shift occurs ahead of major sporting events like the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Goldman Sachs raised its price target for Adidas to €185 from €165. The firm maintains a Neutral rating on the stock.
