Apple said more than 100,000 applications have been optimized for its first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo. The announcement came just two weeks after the device launched.
Thousands more Duo-optimized apps are being added to the App Store daily, Apple said. The milestone points to strong developer support for the new form factor.
Apple’s developer outreach included workshops in 19 cities worldwide. Apps with the “Made for iPhone Duo” badge are designed to use the device’s dual-screen and foldable capabilities.
Microsoft apps Word and Excel, along with Instagram, Netflix, and Zoom, have already been updated for the new hardware.
