Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports that Apple will overhaul its product release strategy for the first half of 2027.
The company plans to launch the standard iPhone 18, a budget-focused iPhone 18e, and a second-generation iPhone Air 2 in early 2027. This shift follows a fall 2026 release cycle limited to the iPhone 18 Pro and Apple’s first foldable device.
The second-generation iPhone Air will feature an A20 Pro processor. This model will also include an ultrawide camera to address previous hardware complaints.
Apple’s 2027 roadmap includes a MacBook Air powered by an M6 chip. The company will also release an iPad Air equipped with an OLED display.
Additionally, Apple will introduce a new laptop category called the MacBook Neo. This device will reportedly utilize an A19 Pro processor.
