Just weeks after becoming Apple’s CEO, John Ternus is reportedly planning a major corporate overhaul to accelerate product development and create a leaner, more engineering-focused organization. The plan aims to speed up product releases and expand Apple’s device lineup.
The restructuring is intended to make Apple more agile and experimental as artificial intelligence reshapes the industry. Ternus is also reportedly considering reducing layers of middle management and moving away from the traditional spring and fall product launch cycles toward a more flexible schedule.
