Toyota Motor Corp. and Nvidia are broadening their decade-long collaboration to focus on physical AI. The expanded partnership integrates artificial intelligence into real-world systems including next-generation vehicles and factory robotics. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang announced the deal during a visit to Japan.
The collaboration extends to Toyota’s Woven City project to power traffic management and urban intelligence systems. Toyota will also deploy Nvidia’s Omniverse and Isaac platforms for factory automation. These tools create digital twins of manufacturing facilities to optimize production operations.
The agreement continues the use of the NVIDIA DRIVE platform for advanced driver-assistance systems. This expansion builds upon existing automotive development work between the two companies.
