CXMT became the world's most profitable memory chip manufacturer in the second quarter of 2026. The company reported a global-leading EBIT margin of 82%. This performance surpassed SK Hynix at 76% and Samsung Electronics' semiconductor division at 70%.
Revenue increased approximately tenfold year-over-year. This top-line expansion represents the highest growth rate among all major industry competitors.
CXMT’s share of the global DRAM market revenue reached 10% in the second quarter. This represents a 4 percentage point increase year-over-year. Market share rose 2 percentage points from the previous quarter. CXMT now ranks as the world's fourth-largest DRAM manufacturer.
Analysts attribute these gains to major competitors shifting production toward high-bandwidth memory for AI. This transition tightened the supply of ordinary DRAM and drove up market prices.
