Tencent Previews New AI Models as Stock Hovers Near 52-Week Low

Tencent previewed its upcoming Hy4 and Hy4 Flash AI models at its Global Digital Ecosystem Summit on October 29. The new models will feature visual understanding capabilities for the first time. These capabilities aim to enhance performance on complex, real-world productivity tasks. Hy4 Flash will be a more cost-effective variant.

Tencent's stock is under pressure. It closed at HK$377.60 on October 29. This price is near its 52-week low of HK$375.20. Tencent also highlighted significant traction for its WorkBuddy AI agent. The agent has processed over nine billion task requests. It launched in March.
