Samsung Electronics increased domestic prices for its flagship Galaxy S26 series effective October 1, roughly seven months after launch. Prices for most models rose by 149,600 won (about $110). The Galaxy S26 Ultra 1TB model rose by 276,100 won (about $203).

The increases reflect surging costs for key components, particularly DRAM and NAND memory chips, amid strong demand from the AI sector.

Samsung has made similar price increases for the Galaxy S26 series in other global markets, including the United States and India, as electronics supply-chain cost pressures persist.
