Samsung Electronics' home appliance subscription service is nearing 1 trillion won (about $734 million) in cumulative sales. The service launched two years ago.

To mark the milestone, Samsung is changing the service's name from AI Subscription Club to Samsung AI Subscription and expanding its offerings. According to the company, one in three consumers buying major appliances now chooses the subscription model.

The expansion includes a push into the business-to-business (B2B) market, targeting corporate clients such as hotels, hospitals and financial firms. The service is designed to reduce businesses' large upfront purchasing costs and includes up to six years of free after-sales service.

For individual consumers, Samsung is introducing tailored plans for life stages such as newlyweds and senior citizens, with more personalized care.
