Samsung Electronics announced plans on August 13, 2026, to establish a new HVAC production facility in Gwangju, South Korea. The company will transfer production from the recently acquired Flakt Group. Manufacturing operations are scheduled to begin in 2027.
The facility will produce high-performance cooling solutions, including central air conditioning and precision cooling equipment. These components are critical for large-scale AI data centers.
