Zscaler announced a partnership with IBM and its subsidiary Red Hat to enhance security for private applications. The collaboration aims to protect applications between the public disclosure of a software vulnerability and the deployment of a security patch. Attackers increasingly exploit this window using AI to weaponize flaws faster than enterprises can respond.

The joint solution combines Zscaler's Autonomous Application Shield with the Lightwell platform from IBM and Red Hat. This integration provides immediate, application-specific protection against exploit attempts while a permanent fix is developed and deployed. This reduces risk for organizations. The companies did not disclose the financial details of the partnership.
