ZenaTech Inc. subsidiary ZenaDrone launched testing for its quantum navigation system at its Sharjah, UAE facilities. The technology enables drone operations in environments where GPS or satellite signals are unavailable, jammed, or spoofed.
Initial trials utilize the indoor IQ Nano drone platform. ZenaTech plans to expand testing to the ZenaDrone 1000 heavy-lift defense drone.
CEO Shaun Passley identified redundant navigation as a mission-critical requirement for future defense customers. The company also targets commercial applications in urban areas, warehouses, and beyond-visual-line-of-sight missions.
