Chiron Real Estate Inc. (XRN) announced the appointment of Matthew Whitlock as its new Chief Investment Officer (CIO), effective August 3, 2026. Mr. Whitlock succeeds Alfonzo Leon, who has transitioned to the role of Strategic Advisor to ensure a smooth handover of responsibilities.

• New Appointment: Matthew Whitlock, former Managing Director at Berkshire Residential Investments, was named CIO with an initial three-year employment term.
• Compensation Package: Mr. Whitlock's agreement includes a $400,000 annual base salary, a target annual bonus of 100% of his base salary, and inducement awards including a time-based LTIP Unit award valued at $350,000.
• Leadership Transition: Former CIO Alfonzo Leon will serve as a Strategic Advisor until no later than December 31, 2026. His transition was not the result of any disagreement with the company.
