Chiron Real Estate Inc. sold seven inpatient rehabilitation facilities to a joint venture for $217 million.

A U.S. public pension fund acquired an 85% equity interest in the portfolio. Chiron retains a 15% stake and will continue to manage the properties for a fee.

The company is redeploying capital into investments with higher returns. Proceeds will fund Chiron’s investment pipeline, including the $176 million acquisition of Pinnacle North Bethesda.
