XPeng launched the Mona L05, a five-seat mid-size SUV, in China on October 29. Its limited-time starting price is 139,800 yuan (approximately $20,820). The L05 is the third model in XPeng’s mass-market Mona sub-brand and comes in battery-electric (BEV) and extended-range (EREV) versions.
XPeng is counting on new models such as the L05 to help push monthly sales above 60,000 units in the fourth quarter. The company began shipments to 65 countries and regions before the L05’s official launch in China. A European launch is anticipated for 2027 as XPeng expands its international presence.
