Eaton has signed an agreement to acquire COL Group, a manufacturer of medium-voltage electrical distribution solutions. The deal is intended to expand Eaton’s power distribution capabilities and manufacturing footprint in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
The acquisition will enhance Eaton’s ability to serve the rapidly growing data center and utility markets. COL Group specializes in SF₆-free switchgear and grid automation technologies, which align with rising demand for sustainable, intelligent power systems.
The deal will strengthen Eaton’s portfolio of technologies for the energy transition and modern grid infrastructure.
