WhiteFiber, Inc. announced the completion of its previously disclosed acquisition of two industrial properties in Yadkin County, North Carolina for an aggregate purchase price of $60.0 million in cash. The company intends to retrofit the properties into data center campuses, designated NC-2 and NC-3, to support artificial intelligence infrastructure.
Key Details
- Transaction: The acquisition was completed on October 28, 2026, by WhiteFiber's subsidiary, Enovum Data Centers Corp., from Unifi Manufacturing, Inc.
- Assets & Capacity: The properties have an expected combined minimum of 60 megawatts (MW) of initial electrical power, with the potential for expansion up to a combined total of approximately 198 MW within seven years.
- Development Plan: WhiteFiber is targeting initial ready-for-service capacity at the new sites in late 2027. The seller, Unifi, will continue to occupy portions of the properties under a partial leaseback arrangement, offsetting some carrying costs.
