Wolfspeed, Inc. (WOLF) announced on October 15, 2026, that it expanded and extended its long-term silicon carbide (SiC) wafer supply agreement with Infineon Technologies AG. The updated agreement adds 200mm SiC wafers to the existing 150mm supply, building on a relationship of more than two decades.
The agreement strengthens Wolfspeed’s role as a supplier in the growing SiC power device market. These devices are used in electric vehicles, renewable energy, and AI data centers. The global SiC power device market is projected to more than triple by 2031.
By supplying larger wafers, Wolfspeed can help customers improve device performance and lower costs.
