Wipro Acquires S Brands, Making Philippines Its Third-Largest International Market

Wipro Consumer Care signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of S Brands Consumer Care Inc. This transaction marks Wipro’s 16th global acquisition. The deal represents the company's second acquisition in the Philippines.

Wipro will add established brands KERATINplus, AlcoPlus, and DeoPlus to its portfolio. The acquisition complements Wipro’s previous purchase of Splash Corp.

This move establishes the Philippines as Wipro’s third-largest market outside of India. Annual revenues in the Philippines are expected to exceed Rs 1,000 crore.

Wipro plans to retain all local manufacturing operations. The company will expand the S Brands portfolio into Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Middle East. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
