Workday and Anthropic announced a partnership to integrate Anthropic’s Claude AI model into Workday’s human resources and finance software. Revealed at the Workday Rising 2026 conference, the collaboration will connect Workday’s Sana AI agents with Claude’s reasoning capabilities, letting users interact with Workday data and complete tasks using conversational language on either platform.
Actions taken through Claude will follow Workday’s existing user permissions, business rules and audit controls. Employees will be able to use the integration to analyze budgets, approve invoices and manage compensation cycles.
The integration is available to early access customers. General availability is expected in late 2026.
