Waters Corporation announced AI-Powered Peak Integration, a new capability for its Empower Software. The feature is designed for regulated chromatography labs, which make up a significant portion of Waters’ user base. These labs are involved in the release of more than 80% of medicines globally.
The tool aims to reduce manual interventions in data processing by up to 95%. Waters says it is designed to improve accuracy and reduce variability between users.
The launch is part of Waters’ strategy to embed artificial intelligence and machine learning in its validated software environment. This approach is intended to help customers in regulated industries, including pharmaceuticals, use AI to improve speed and precision while maintaining data integrity, traceability, and compliance. The feature joins a growing portfolio of premium AI capabilities for the Empower platform.
