Wabtec Corporation secured its largest-ever African services agreement with La Compagnie du TransGuinéen (CTG).
The multi-year contract value exceeds $700 million. Wabtec will provide maintenance and support for its ES43AC Evolution Series locomotive fleet in Guinea.
These services support the new 600-kilometer Trans-Guinean railway connecting the Simandou iron ore mine to the Port of Morebaya. The agreement includes scheduled maintenance, parts, logistics, and training.
This deal brings Wabtec’s total commitment to the Simandou project to more than $1.2 billion.
