Snap partners with Verizon, Nvidia, Amazon Web Services, and Salesforce to launch Specs augmented reality glasses for the enterprise market. Verizon serves as the exclusive U.S. carrier partner. It provides 5G connectivity for the device's cellular-enabled charging case.
The collaboration positions the AR glasses as a hands-free computing solution for workplaces. These workplaces include factories, retail, and field service operations.
Verizon will offer custom data plans for existing customers, starting at $10 per month. The carrier also provides financing options and in-store hardware experiences. The glasses, bundled with the cellular case, will be available for $2,395.
