Vertiv Holdings Co. said today it secured a multi-year contract to provide liquid-cooling solutions for a series of new AI-focused data centers. The company described the deal as one of the largest in its history. Financial terms and the client were not disclosed.
The contract covers Vertiv’s direct-to-chip liquid-cooling technology, which helps manage heat from the latest AI accelerators. Industry experts view the deal as validation of Vertiv’s technology portfolio and its ability to serve demand for high-density computing infrastructure.
