Gruvaktiebolaget Viscaria ordered €40 million in mineral-processing technology from Metso for its Viscaria copper mine in Kiruna, Sweden. This agreement moves the project into the detailed execution phase.
The contract covers crushing, flotation, magnetic separation, and filtration equipment. This follows a January order for grinding mills.
Metso serves as a key supplier for the site. The project aims to become Sweden's second-largest copper producer.
