Microsoft has redesigned Copilot to bring AI chat, Microsoft Office, coding tools and autonomous AI agents into one application. CEO Satya Nadella has described the unified app as a “super app” and a central hub for consumers and businesses to use artificial intelligence.

The app has three main sections: Home, Code and Autopilot. Autopilot lets users assign agents recurring or long-running tasks. Each agent has a distinct digital identity, which administrators can use to manage its security and access.

The redesign puts Copilot in direct competition with integrated AI platforms from other major companies. Microsoft aims to build adoption through its broad enterprise reach across Windows, Microsoft 365 and Teams.
