Walmart Adds CITGO to Fuel Program, Expanding Network by 30%

Walmart is adding CITGO to its Walmart+ Gas Savings benefit. This expansion grows the program from 13,000 to more than 17,000 participating U.S. fuel stations.

Walmart+ members now save 10 cents per gallon at CITGO locations. The program already includes discounts at Walmart, Exxon, Mobil, and Murphy stations.

The addition increases the total number of participating stations by approximately 30%. This move significantly expands the program's footprint across the Southeast, Midwest, and Northeast.

Walmart designed this enhancement to drive member loyalty and compete with rival membership programs. Annual fuel savings for many members could now exceed the $98 membership fee.
