Uranium Royalty Corp. (URC) finalized its $1.14 billion merger with Sweetwater Royalties. The transaction closed on July 27, 2026. A new U.S.-domiciled parent company will trade on the Nasdaq. This deal integrates URC’s uranium assets with a cash-flowing trona (soda ash) royalty business.

The combined entity now ranks among the largest public landowners in the United States. It controls approximately 850,000 acres of surface rights. The portfolio also includes 4.5 million acres of mineral rights.

Immediate cash flow from trona operations will fund future uranium royalty acquisitions. Orion Resource Partners and the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan have joined as major shareholders.
