Uranium Energy Corp announced a long-term uranium supply agreement with a major, unnamed U.S. nuclear utility. The agreement covers 1.2 million pounds of U3O8, with deliveries scheduled from 2028 to 2032. The uranium will come from the company’s U.S.-based ISR operations.
Pricing will be linked to market prices at the time of delivery, with a floor and a ceiling. The agreement adds to UEC’s efforts to contract future production amid renewed interest in nuclear power.
