Unity Software has held talks in recent weeks with a consortium that includes private equity firm Silver Lake and Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) about a potential acquisition. The discussions have included a valuation of around $25 billion, but may not lead to a deal.
Silver Lake already owns approximately 8% of Unity. After receiving the approach, Unity is reportedly working with an investment bank to assess its options.
