Apple’s latest operating system, iOS 27, is blocking The Trade Desk from serving ads to Safari users. The block follows an expansion of Apple’s policy against domains involved in cross-site tracking, which now covers The Trade Desk’s primary ad delivery domain, adsrvr.org, and domains related to its Unified ID 2.0 (UID2) solution.

The block prevents ads bought through The Trade Desk’s platform from rendering in Safari for users who have updated to iOS 27. The Trade Desk filed a bug report with Apple’s WebKit team on September 21. The issue remained unresolved as of late September.

Analysts say the immediate impact may be limited by the pace of iOS 27 adoption. If the block persists, however, it could create a notable revenue headwind during the critical fourth-quarter advertising season.
