TSMC leads Taiwan in profit and revenue, fueled by AI demand

TSMC ranks as Taiwan’s most profitable company for 2025, according to a CRIF report on the nation's top 5,000 firms. The chipmaker recorded a net profit of NT$1.72 trillion.

For the first time, TSMC also led all Taiwanese companies in revenue with NT$3.78 trillion in sales. Surging global demand for AI applications fueled these financial results.

TSMC remains a critical supplier of advanced AI chips to industry giants including Nvidia and AMD. This performance solidifies the company’s leadership position amid the ongoing global AI boom.
