Tesla launched high-volume production and started deliveries of its electric Semi truck. This milestone arrives nearly nine years after the vehicle's initial unveiling.

The company delivered the first units to PepsiCo, DHL, and US Foods at its Sparks, Nevada factory.

Tesla aims to produce 50,000 Semi trucks annually at the Nevada facility. The company did not disclose current production rates or vehicle pricing.

The long-range version achieves a 500-mile range on a single charge while fully loaded. Executives stated that customers validated this performance in real-world conditions.
