Tesla has secured $30 billion in new credit agreements to finance an expansion into artificial intelligence and manufacturing, according to a regulatory filing. The package replaces a previous $5 billion credit line.
The agreements include a $20 billion delayed-draw term loan, an $8 billion five-year revolving credit facility and a $2 billion 364-day revolving facility.
Tesla says it does not plan to draw from the facilities in 2026, keeping them as a financial buffer for future projects. The company anticipates record spending in 2026, including investments in AI computing infrastructure, solar cell manufacturing and a semiconductor project with SpaceX.
